After researching what ‘Grandpa’ did in the war, many families feel a need to visit the locations where their ancestors served or sadly died. It is my ambition to tell as many stories as possible of the individual men and women who served in the Great War of 1914-18. Part of this story telling is locating where the events of their lives took place. I can help you in this quest by consulting unit War Diaries, written histories and locating contemporary maps, which will enable me to produce a self-guided tour itinerary for your visit or even accompany you on your special weekend away in France or Flanders.
